Stepping into the role of the CEO in your business is an absolute must to grow your business beyond yourself.
Every single business owner and CEO has had to to do this. Sarah Blakely. Richard Branson. Elon Musk. ALL of ’em.
You must boldly step into that role so your business can grow beyond what you can do yourself. If you want an empire, it can’t be just you. If you want a million dollar + business, it can’t be just you. You need people by your side.
If this is your first time being a CEO, you’re a beginner, and even if this is your second-rodeo, there are nuances with starting and growing a business. Give yourself grace through the process.
I’ve heard from people in our Mastermind groups that some of them are uncomfortable calling themselves a CEO. I get that AND if you want to build a company, you need to learn how to rise and step into that leadership role.
Listen, there’s no class at college on how to be a CEO. No great online class you can take. No awesome podcast.
So much of this is on-the-job learning. Yes, there are fundamentals of business (which we use as a foundation inside of Kickass Masterminds), but YOU as a human are unique. YOU as a CEO are unique. You need to find your own way to be the best CEO of your business.
How do you do that?
1. EMBODY IT. Step into this. Own it. Declare it.
2. YOU HAVE TO LEAD. You must realize that you are the one driving the bus. You’re charting the course. YOU and only you are the energy source for your business. Take the responsibility.
3. BUILD A TEAM. You can’t do it alone: you need a team to help. Which means you need to get smart about hiring, training, managing, growing, and even firing. You need support to do this, andmodel other people who have been there. You need to be shoulder-to-shoulder with others who are doing this as well.
Kickass Masterminds can help you to step into the CEO role and build a company beyond yourself, so if this is something you struggle with, let us help you.
APPLICATIONS OPEN FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF KICKASS MASTERMINDS ARE AVAILABLE THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2019.
